We are sorry to anyone who lost an image in their story and/or the most recent updated chapter during the recent transfer. We put forth our best efforts to recovering those files from the previous owner; however, without her assistance, we were unable.
Please check to make sure you aren't missing any chapters, and if you are, reupload the chapter. We know this is a pain, but it's better to only have to reupload one or two, rather than your whole story!
Again, we are sorry for the trouble and for the delays this has caused in making other changes to the site. As we are relying heavily on your donations, we wanted to keep you all informed on our efforts to improve MJFiction.

We are testing out different advertising services, as the number of people promising donations vs. actually donating suggests that alone is not a feasible means of supporting the site.
gotcha..was worried there was some set up on my computer that was wrong. i liked the one at the top that was a banner before but dont like it on my reviews etc. just my opinion
We are trying to keep the advertisements as least intrusive as possible and unfortunately the previous owner of this site did not hand over the information for the original ads and they were removed. Thanks for your opinion on the matter, though. Unless we gain in leaps and bounds in donations, we need to do what we can to keep this site online. It is very expensive.
Unfortunately you may be seeing more of these 'test' ads from time to time until we find something that fits.
what's up with the infolinks pop ups now showing up everywhere on the site, whether it be the front page, reviews or story? Is this a glitch? just curious
