Summary:

In 1992, seven year old Alana Bell's life is turned upside down when her mother, Marisol Bell is killed in a car accident. To top it off her mother was best friends with The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, who is now her legal guardian.

Michael now must deal with being a single parent, and his rising fame that makes everyone want a peace of him. Michael finds out things about Marisol and her feelings for him before the accident and the truth that the Bell home was not what it seemed, and he and Alana must cling to each other, through their hard times.
