Nita being a mother (although not the biological one) was such a surprise! And I think this adds a new dimension to her character (especially in Michael's eyes), as well as to the relationship between Michael and Nita. It was great to see Michael interacting with the little boy, because Michael was just...Michael, that is wonderful with kids.
I think that Michael in your story is very male, without losing his occasional child-like behavior, and that is a lovely combination (I believe he was that combination in real life as well); he became jealous and territorial about Nita when he heard about her having a possible boyfriend.
Their conversation at the end was heartbreaking, I understand Nita, but it was extremely painful for a sweet and sensitive guy like Michael to hear her telling him to go away and leave her alone. I think that may be the reason he ended up in the hospital.

Four more chapters into the story, I got so caught up in it that I have omitted to leave a review, but now I feel compelled to leave one:)
Michael is a very complex character in this story (and that is entirely because of your talent at writing him), he is full of contradictions: on one hand, for example, there is this big star with a big ego, who does things only his way (and expects people to do the same), but on the other hand, he has a kind heart and a lot of empathy, and these qualities make him tolerable (and adorable), otherwise he be insufferable; he wants to be with Nita only for the benefits (sex), but he makes the others around him believe that between him and Nita there is this beautiful love story that has conquered it all; he claims that he wants nothing to do with Diana, and treats her very coldly, but it doesn't take long for him to become weak and vulnerable before her. I know Michael was complex in real life as well, and I love how that aspect of his personality is reflected in your story.
I really enjoyed Nita and Michael bickering in chapter 8, it was so funny! And their conversation in this chapter was beautiful. Nita will always be a sweetheart, so honest and vulnerable and tender-hearted, and Michael is very mature when he realizes how hurt she is, and sort of admits that he feels more for her than just physical attraction. And it is so funny to see him not having the courage to face a hurt Nita (even if the lack of courage lasts only a moment).

I love how conflicted Michael is in this chapter - he is cold and tries to convince himself that this night did not mean anything to him; but at the same time, he cannot help feeling tenderness, care and protectiveness towards Nita.
And Nita is vulnerable and strong at the same time, and showing both. I loved how she shut the door in Michael's face at the end:)

Hi, I am a new reader of this beautiful story. I am very late to the party, and I have noticed that you haven't updated in 2 years, but I hope you will one day:) In the meantime I am going to enjoy all the chapters you have submitted so far.
Your writing is absolutely beautiful, I have been completely immersed in the first 3 chapters, partly because of the complex characters, and partly because of your detailed, realistic and at the same time poetic way of describing each emotion, change of state or expression, and each thought of the characters.
I think you have created a complex and wonderful character in Nita, and Michael is also very intriguing, a mix of charm and seduction on one hand, and of pain, innocence and pride, on the other hand. I am sure the story is going to be a beautiful journey for me:)
