A good true fan gets the impression that this is how he would have been in situations like this. So it really is s thrill to read this story. And it is catchy, too. Spasiba...I mean thank you :) Yes, I try to keep my stories as much historically and geographically accurate as I can. For the situation in this one, I didn't need much research, I lived those times as a child.

Did you resize using MJFiction? That function doesn't work (efiction is old and we are waiting on the newest update...), so I'd recommend using photobucket to resize images.

Well, then I believe that the fair correct thing to do is wait till the update is ready, not send writers on a wild goose chase on I don't know how many websites. Once the updates are working and everyone can resize their photos with the site editor, you can start going after offenders. Until then, it seems a bit unfair to ask us to spend extra time re-editing our photos on other websites.

You are free to introduce them in the first chapter of your story. If you decide to make them one after another, they will need to be substantially smaller than 600x500.
It it is not difficult to upload stories. I'm sorry you feel this is too restrictive; at the same time it is something that was presented to the admins by several of your reviewers.

They are around half the size you specified. If this is not substantial enough, it means that the admins of this site are trying to make writers' life as hard as possible. And we don't even get a Pulitzer for our work...

I cannot and do not intend to put all images side by side. There is a rule in my own way of presenting characters. I worked very hard to upload these photos. I will make them smaller, but they shall remain one under the other for the purpose of presentation. I hope I find them 3 days from now, because I am decided to delete every single of my stories otherwise and I will post a nice explanation to my readers stating that restrictive admin rules make me move to another website, where I can display them in the way I consider fit. Like I said before, there are rules and rules. I am not an offender in terms of posting hundreds of shout-outs on story summaries, but I do claim the right to introduce my characters the way I consider fit.

I like this story, the plot is very interesting for me. I am not from Russia, I live in Czech republic, former Czechoslovakia, and the situation in 70´s and 80´s was pretty similar there, well maybe not so bad but we also had similar group like KGB (here it was called STB) and people had to be very careful too. You probably didn´t hear about occupation in 1968 (Russian army came to Czechoslovakia because people wanted a change - to overthrow the regime and Russian goverment didn´t like it at all), so there was a lot of Russian soldiers in my country and at school we had to learn Russian. So I can understand you write about.
anyway, sorry for my English, you know, it is not my mother language but I learn a lot of new words and phrases during reading your stories :-)

Juat saw your very meaningful comment and I am sorry for this belated reply. Actually, as a Romanian born under Communism I do know of many of these things. And I do know about the occupation of your country (it is known as the Spring of Prague, if I remember right) - we were the guys who refused to join the Russians, let their army pass through our country on the way to the invasion and publicly protested against this horrible act of injustice, although we could have got in great trouble for this.
