Beautifull, Menen. I love the way you write these two and the way that they've grown from the beginning. Michael has lost his hard edge and is easily just a big old softie, soon to be daddy, that can't keep his hands off his girl. I loooove them.
As for this 'calm before the storm', you ain't gonna tear them apart are you, Menen??? I'm scared for these, too, but I know that they'll make it through, they just got to.

Awe thank you BB. I appreciate that!! Michael has softened a great deal...He basically went back to his old self before Nye got to devastate him and sour his heart on love. It will be the calm before the storm. Just weather it out with me. It will all make sense!! Oh and I updated CTTG like a week and a half ago. I'll be doing that again this weekend so look out for it. I can't believe Ren had the nerve to suggest he forgives Michael. As if Michael is the only reason he didn't get Pen. SMH. A coupling of Pen and Ren just couldn't happen. If it did...well, it would be both horrifying and obnoxious. Think of the answering machine message, the cards, etc. Nope. He's lucky that Michael is fairly polite.
I'm very curious as to how the surgery is going to go...especially coupled with her pregnancy.

I have to apologize because I had a line in that portion of the chapter that eluded that Michael might have been talking to Ren but he was actually talking to Fenty. Fenty was the one that kissed Pen. I have to edit it out like I was supposed to. :))) Him and Pen would have never happened because Prn even if single didn't like him in that way. Yes Michael kept his composure quite well.
We will see just how the surgery turns out next chapter. Hold on to you hat!!! <333

Cali and Saul or just too cute. But, they aren't as cute as Mike and Pen tho. Just saying. Lol. Anyway, when she told Cali to look after Michael if anything were to happen to her, I almost cried. I know that God is gonna make a way and that her surgery is going to be a success so that she can continue her life with Mike and their unborn bundle of joy. And Fenty, I'm glad he was man enough to talk to Mike about his kiss with Pen. Mist niggas don't do that shit. But, I'm happy that they talked it out like two grown men that they are and made amends.
And I can't believe this story is almost over!!!!! Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!

Oh my gosh, homie, yesss! now that I'm not reading this on my phone, I can finally review.
Can I say again how much I love you as a writer? I like that the tone here is completely different than Cradle to the Grave; the characters, their development, the plot, the feel of the story - Everything!
Also, that Michael is a complete and utter dousche that I kind of hate but at the same time makes me so happy. Like, no doubt, he needs to hold his tongue and is way out of line a lot of the time, but at the same time is ridiculously charming in that obnoxious kind of way.
I like what you did with pushing the time to the present and altering Michael's story to fit your whims. I feel like we get stuck too often between the canon MJ and then complete and utter alternate universe. I like to think about what Michael could have been if he'd started from the same place, but made decisions that caused him to end up in different places. It makes it interesting and feels a lot closer to mjfiction as I always hoped it to be.

Michael is a little douche in the beginning. LMAOO. I know you probably got a little further on so you see his growth through the story. He's really a charming little sweetheart under all the cocky mess lol.
I liked the idea of giving it a modern setting. It opens up so much. Communication is better (texting and cellphones etc) so they could reach out more. Also with the not so canon MJ, I've always wondered too what it would be like if he had ventured outside of music. He was so talented at so so many things.

I don't really have much to say that I'm glad dirty Diana is getting handled and also that Pen and Michael are having a baby, and it's confirmed! Yes, yes, yes!!!!! Pen is pregnant. Hallelujah, thank you Jesus. Mike is just as giddy and as happy as can be. I'm so excited for them that I can't stop smiling myself. Lol. Anyway, I'm glad these restraining order papers came in. Something that Mike, himself can get out the way. Also, Pen's surgery that's coming up pretty soon. I hope and pray that everything goes well for Pen and not just for her but also her and Mike's little jelly bean of a baby.

LMAOO. I imagined how comical it would look. She was just there staring and all of a sudden she screams. Not moving just sitting still like it was involuntary. Michael had a good chuckle about it. lol.
11% doesn't seem like much but it's pretty high in these circumstances. Complications without pregnancy is like 2.8% or something like that and it's not uncommon unfortunately. :( But yes the Doc seems very confident.
Yes I thought it was cute of him to show his solidarity with his Mama. Lol.

Okay, so the tumor is anterior to the PFC? Sounds like a fairly standard procedure. There are still major risks with the anesthesia, though (case in point: A friend of mine had that procedure and almost died from an allergic reaction to it)

Thank you!! Yup it's in that little curved area right behind the PFC. I figured I would go with the no scaring opton. It's not big enough to have to go in through the eyebrow or behind the ear so endonasal it is. And you're right about the risks still being there. The doctor is being very optimistic about the surgery.
