I laughed so damn hard at this chapter. When Kai darted and the comments everyone was making about the foul smell had me rotf!!!!!!
Anyway,Kai's attitude is stank just like her damn gas, lol, but it's not because just because. The girl is obviously pregnant whether or not she doesn't want to be. She's pregnant.
And the reaction at the end of the chapter literally told me that she is. I do feel somewhat bad for her because all of her life, she's taken care of honor and now marleigh but never had time to do the things she says to do to be successful and happy and its stressing her out. Seeing Mike being this big time pop start now hurts her because she can't go to school be what she wants to become.
I hate seeing her like that it hurts me too. And now if she is pregnant, that's gonna keep her From pursuing her dreams. But she better nit think about aborting her baby. I'll be furious.

I also feel so sorry for Katy. That cancer ain't no damn joke. Lost two uncles to that and its very heartbreaking when you can't really do anything about it when it gets to the worst stage. No matter how manychemotherapies they've been through. I just hope whenever she gets her surgery done that it all goes into remission.

Joseph is out of control and Mike was right to fire him. Honestly business and family, especially family you don't get along with, is a bad mix. Best to keep them separated going forward.
I feel like Kai may not be able to get over what MJ did. Due to the fact that she has only ever been with Mike she keeps attaching significance to him sleeping with Cali that wasn't there. Sometimes sex is just sex especially for men. Doesn't excuse what he did by any means, but I'm not sure she is a person who can ever see past that due to her innocent mindset. She is going to keep reading too much into it and over time it will only degrade her confidence further. Especially given that MJ is going to keep having women throwing themselves at him now that he is famous. Hell, her ex best friend is one of them. It's sad really what both MJ and Kira have done to her, and I almost get the impression at times it it wasn't for Marleigh she would have never given MJ a second chance or be staying with him now. I think he will have his work cut out for him in holding on to Kai long term.

That opening scene was a very nice one. Had to be one of their best intimate sessions. I was really getting annoyed with Kai's attitude towards him afterwards though. At the same time, I can understand her insecurity. But MJ handled that very well. Saying all the right things. He just needs to keep finding ways to distract her from her insecure thoughts.
And that was so foul what Joseph did. Just gone fire all of MJ's people like that without his permission. If he's really trying to be a good father then he needs to step it up times ten. Because right now, he's only making things worse.
