Again, I don't think Michael would be on the verge of tears at every moment. I think he would be in take charge mode and only let his emotions go when everything was taken care of. The ONLY thing I find troubling in your writing of Michael is he always seems to be on the verge of tears. That just doesn't seem like him at all. He was sensitive and caring yes but he was NOT that fragile.
