Wow, great chapter. I get a lot of "Stranger In Moscow" from this story. :)

The third paragraph I think you should switch around a bit. After the spy opens the envelope, then he goes to dress and get ready. The rest of the chapters moved on effortlessly but that paragraph was stop-and-start with the pacing. Just imo he could already be dressed and ready so when we read he gets the envelope about the assignment, we want to keep reading to see who it is immediately.

I like the suspense/foreshadowing you add where the spy says he's a straight man and loves Katrina (LOL) when he sees Michael. Not only that, we wonder who is Katrina and how does the spy truly feel about her. I think the length of this chapter was short and long enough to keep me going on, so great job and great writing, Mystica.
