he was madly, insanely irrevocably in love with her but she didnt return his feelings.

Michael grimaced in disgust

He sighed as he grabbed the half empty bottle of vodka ready to pour yet another glass.

 15 minutes had elapsed since she called him to relay the so called good news. Derek had purposed  during dinner. She was engaged, and next year she'd have her dream summer wedding.

Any good friend would be ecstatic

But he couldnt be happy for her

He wouldnt

He refused

How could he?
