I think out of all the stories I've ever read on this site, this one takes the cake for having the worst Michael. And I don't mean to imply that the character development is bad because I think the writing is great. But goddamn is he a sociopathic, selfish asshole! Even in stories like Heist where Michael kidnaps and rapes the main girl, he elicits more sympathy from me. Here he is just a straight up dick.
I don't ever want to see him and Liyah together, she deserves so much better. Anyone does, really. Team Trey all the way! (haha it even rhymes).
This is a really well-written story though. I can't stop reading even though I hate Michael completely. I keep hoping there will be a chapter where he gets hit by a truck, yet am completely hooked.

Trey is now on my good list. He's so sweet to Liyah and so loving reminds me of my boyfriend. But that Michael, is most definitely on my 'knock you the fuck out' list. Now that last sentence when he said that Aliyah went back to Trey and that those feelings had instantly vanished idk if he was talking about hers or his.
