Summary:

Michael Jackson and George Michael are at the height of their carriers in 1988 with Michael Jackson's tremendous success of 'BAD' and George's 'FAITH'

SOny has the ingenious idea to bring the two pop rivals together for a joint album salivating at the prospective sales. 

However, Michael Jackson is unhappy because of the lack of any Grammy's for his album BAD which he'd put his heart and soul into for two long years and he isn't pleased when the 'Album of the Year' award goes to George Michael's 'Faith' the subsequent year, he doesn't understand the appeal of George Michael at all. 

Meanwhile George is dealing with his own demons and hiding his sexulity becomes harder everyday and the last thing he needs is the attention that will come from working together with Jackson.
